From his first day at Tyson over 20 years ago until the last time we worked together in 2006, I knew John to be kind, helpful, and in general, a joy to be around. John also had a tenacious side to him that I very much appreciated.
Please allow me to join the long list of people who worked with John at Tyson and remember him fondly. Rest in peace, John. You earned it!

Condolence: So very sad that John has passed. He was a lifelong friend! Through two different companies, 100’s of rounds of golf, pool, bowling, darts, poker and just dinner. It didn’t matter how long since we had seen each other, he put you totally at ease and made you feel right at home. So sad to have lost touch the last few year. Deb, our prayers are with you!

He was patient, kind, understanding, light hearted, determined and always had a smile for everyone, even on those all night sessions we would pull…. Good times…. Condolence: I am so sorry to hear the news of John's death. Though it has now been almost 20 years since we worked together at Tyson Foods the thought of John still brings a smile to my face. No matter the circumstances, the long hours of work, or the pressures of that work John seemed to always find a way to carve out humor in an otherwise sometimes humorless situation. I came to rely and trust in John while we worked together and I hope the family finds solace in the fact that John was an outstanding person in every way.
