Obituary for Fred Martin Barker
Fred Martin Barker, 87, of Rogers, Arkansas passed from this life September 1, 2016 in Rogers. He was born February 9, 1929 in Albany, Oregon to Forest and Bessie (Martin) Barker. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Craig Barker.
Mr. Barker served our country for over twenty years in the Air Force, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a machinist for Albany International for 22 years, retiring in 1990. Fred married Dorothy (Waggy) Barker on July 30, 1971. He was a member of First Assembly of God, Springdale, VFW 2952, and the American Legion.
Fred is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Christine McAuliffe and Gary Barker; his grandchildren, Allison and Ari Aosved, Heather and James Barker, and Catherine and Craig Barker.
