Obituary for Orville Henry Meyers
Orville Henry Meyers, 79, of Rogers, Arkansas passed from this life March 11, 2017 in Rogers. He was born September 20, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska to William O. and Marie (Regan) Meyers. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill “Red” Meyers and Jerry Meyers.
Orville is survived by his wife, Patti Meyers; his children, Susan Allyn of Des Moines, Iowa, Sandra Raymond of Onawa, Iowa, Lori Meyers of Rogers, Arkansas, and Chris Meyers and his wife Krista of Onawa, Iowa; his sister, Laurene Hart of Gilbert, Arizona; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Patches.
Orville was an Army veteran, serving in Korea. He enjoyed fishing, reading western novels, and watching the Sci-Fi channel. He was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker football fan. Orville will always be remembered as a tremendous family man who spoiled his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
