Faye Oneta  Boyers
Faye Oneta Doyel Boyers, of Nob Hill, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at home at the age of 97 after a short illness. She was born April 26, 1920, at home, outside of Bray, Oklahoma, to Henry J. and Minnie Lee Ann (Cheeves) Doyel.

She was a 1936 graduate of LaCasa School, Hollis, OK and a 1941 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She worked as a teacher of business skills for one year and as an accountant for her remaining work years. After frequent moves for her husband’s career, she spent 25 years in Hinsdale, Illinois, before retiring to Springdale, Arkansas.

Faye is survived by her children, Dana Boyers of Cary, Illinois, Debbie Boyers of Ankeny, Iowa, and Marsha Boyers (Jim Richards) of Springdale, Arkansas; grandchildren, Erin Schmid, Jennifer Boyers-Liechty, Megan St. Romain, and Jason Boyers-Liechty; great grandchildren, Sydney Faye Schmid, Aliyah St. Romain, and RJ St. Romain; brother, Jay Jr Doyel of Edessa, TX; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T Boyers; parents; 2 sisters, Otis Brown, Ola Wilkinson; and 4 brothers, Cleatus Doyel, James Doyel, Marvin Doyel and Vertie Doyel.

Honoring her wishes, no memorial services will be held. Burial will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas, alongside her husband.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, AR for wonderful care; Springdale Public Library, Springdale, AR, for large print books, or Nob Hill Fire Dept., Springdale, Arkansas for their services.
