Obituary for Montie Utter Johnson
Montie U. Johnson, 90, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, formerly of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2017. Montie was born on June 4, 1926 to the late Bill and Vergie Utter.
Montie was a lifelong math teacher and an active member of NEA. Montie enjoyed reading the newspaper, working a crossword puzzle, knitting, and being outdoors.
Montie was survived by a stepdaughter, Jennifer Johnson McLelland; a daughter-in-law, Paulette Kniseley; four nieces, Beverly Courson Shephard, Pat Warren, Laurie Williams and Kate Nagy; and eight grandchildren.
Honoring her request, there will be no service.
